Hi, I’m Ciara. I have been an artist since early childhood and always had a passion for fine arts. I have a BS in Art Therapy, and during my final semester of college, I furthered my exploration with fiber arts and fell in love with yarn. Crochet became my main medium of self-expression, though I also love knitting, embroidering, and sewing. I now work at a local fiber arts shop where I spend my time helping and inspiring others who share a similar passion and staying up to date on new techniques and best quality materials for my pieces.

I first began crocheting pet portraits after losing my beloved dog and needing a way to cope.

Having had my pup as my companion for 17 wonderful years, it was so important to my grieving process to create a memorial that comforted and reminded me of the joy he brought.

I have continued exploring the use of fibers to create keepsakes that can be a source of comfort to others.
